Working with Candidates
We believe an understanding of your goals and aspirations is key to our ability to guide and place you successfully.
From the moment you contact us we start to build a relationship with you, taking the time to listen and understand, through face to face discussions and ongoing contact.
Building trust is essential; we will always give you honest and impartial feedback at every step of the way. Also, we will only propose you for roles which we believe suit your aspirations and your skill set.
The SD Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is simple and focused on providing support, advice and feedback at every step.
Identify potential candidates
Once we have identified you as a potential candidate, either from our Candidate database or through our Research team, we will call you to discuss and assess your interest in the role.
Internal preparation
If you wish to be considered for the role we will ask you in for an internal interview. This will focus on the role requirements as well as your broader interests and skills.
If we feel you are a good fit with the client role and organisation we will recommend you for the client interview.
Prior to the client interview we will brief and coach you, providing details of the interviewer and a review of the role to ensure you are fully prepared. We will also keep you informed of changes to timescales and any emerging requirements.
The Client Interview process
After you have been interviewed we will capture feedback from both you and the Client. This enables us to identify and address any areas of concern with both parties.
If you are selected, we will prepare you for your second interview in the same way as for the first.
If you are unsuccessful we will inform you and provide you with open and honest feedback, from the client and your SD Consultant. This is by no means the end. We will continue to work with you to identify alternative opportunities and provide continued career development advice should you require it.
Accepting an offer
If you receive an offer of employment from the client we will manage the negotiation process on your behalf in an honest and professional manner.
Once negotiations are complete we will stay in touch with you throughout your notice period to ensure you are prepared for the transfer to your new role.
Integration
Once on board in your new role we will call you and the client during the first three months to see how you are settling in. We will work with you and the client as required to ensure your integration is as smooth as possible.
Going forward we will continue to keep in touch several times a year.
