Defining the Requirement
From the moment you approach Strategic Dimensions our Consultants will work with you to understand your requirement, developing detailed job profiles which provide an in depth appreciation of the needs of the job for both us and prospective candidates.
Choice of Approach
Once we fully understand the role, we will then decide whether to advertise or to commence a targeted search / head hunting exercise. Our recommendation is based on the needs of the job and the level of targeting required.
Advertised Selection
This approach is used when looking to fill a role for which the applicants can come from a variety of backgrounds. The more widespread the possible sources the greater the need to advertise.
The success of an advertising strategy will largely depend on using the most appropriate media for a specific vacancy. Consequently we consider the specific content of a particular vacancy – skills required, job title, salary, location etc – alongside the audience profile of each potential medium or title in order to identify the most appropriate one in which to advertise.
Search / Headhunting
This approach is used when you can be very specific about the skills and experience needed. It is therefore possible to target individuals with particular skill sets in specific organsiations within a given sector or industry.
Successful search depends on up to date, high quality intelligence about the market and individuals within it. Assessment
Once we have identified potential candidates, we provide a complete assessment service, including structured interviewing, psychometric testing and tailor-made assessment centres if required.
